DC Blocks

Federal Custom Cable Inner/Outer and Inner or Outer DC Blocks pass all frequencies from 10 MHz up to 50 GHz while offering low insertion loss and low VSWR. Inner DC Blocks have a capacitor in series with the center conductor while the Outer DC Blocks have a capacitor in series with the outer conductor and the Inner/Outer DC Blocks have capacitors in series with both inner and outer conductors. The in-series capacitor blocks the flow of low frequencies (DC and audio) while offering minimal interference to RF signals up to 50 GHz. They are available in all popular connectors such as: BNC, N, SMA, TNC, 7mm, 2.9 mm, 2.4 mm, 75 Ohm BNC, 75 Ohm N and 75 Ohm F male to female connection. They are used in applications where audio and DC signals are undesirable which includes ground loop elimination, signal source modulation leakage suppression, improvement signal to noise ratio and test setup isolations. They are designed for test & laboratory, production line and system use.
