Dsub-Coax Cable Assemblies:
Eight size 8 shielded contacts on the D-Sub end is connected to an eight SMB(P) coax connectors on the other end using an RG316DS coaxial cable. An EMI/RFI metal hood was used to maximize shielding performance. The D-Sub connectors are getting more popular in the RF industry and the test & measurement world. The D-Sub combo from Positronic offers size 20 removable signal & thermocouple crimp contacts, and size 8 removable power, shielded, air & high voltage contacts. Various hoods, mating, mounting & locking systems are available from stock.

Battery Cable Assemblies:
An off the shelf battery cable on one side was used to provide a military cable manufacturer with the interconnection required to provide power to communication equipments. The other side is a standard circular connector. FCC will interface with any off the shelf products to provide an economical solution to your requirements.

Push-Pull Tester:
Among the latest additions of our quality assurance & testing department is a push-pull computerized tester for verifying in the tensile mode the strength of the cable crimp/solder terminals & contacts, wire strength till rupture, and fatigue loading of cables for specified time period. In the compression mode, this tester can also be used to verify spring constants, and its integrity under load. Real time loading data can also be downloaded to the PC for further analysis.

Labeling Capabilities:
Federal Custom cable has the capability for labeling your cable assemblies with the label and ink color of your choice including industrial & Military (UDI) bar coding using our computerized thermal transfer technology system that meets and exceeds the print permanence requirements of SAE-AS81531. Also for your harsh environment the Duratech label is available. To further protect your label, a clear shrink tubing is used as a protective cover.

Miniature Test Cables:
FCC has delivered various test cables for a major Telecommunication company, which consists of RF connectors on one side and Oxley Barb cone Lock PTFE insulated terminals on the other side. The Oxley connectors are heavily used in the testing and measurement world, as test points for surface mount PCB and interconnections. Oxley terminals feature: simple assembly, self- retaining mechanism, high insulation resistance, low capacitance & pressure sealing. No matter what is your application, our technical staff is ready to assist.

FCC has supplied a major networking global company with OSP blind mate cable assemblies. These cable assemblies offer superior performance, solid telescoping alignment, no interface damage, shielded outer contact, thus low RF leakage, high frequency performance 26.5 to 40GHz, available semi rigid and flexible cables in various mounting and types.

Inductor Assemblies:
FCC has provided a major Antenna manufacturer with Inductor assemblies that consist of conformable 0.050" diameter (RG407) coaxial cable, covered with shrink tubing, stripped on both ends, in a counter clockwise & clockwise directions, with ferrite beads inserted between the coils. FCC has the capability to manufacture similar coils with the desired diameter and number of turns.

QMA Cable Assemblies:
FCC has added to its line of coaxial cable assemblies, the QMA quick lock connectors.
They provide the same performance as the SMA connectors up to 6 GHz. In addition, QMA series offers SNAP-ON mating, free-rotating connection when mated, no torque required, thus helping customers to save significant time during testing & production.
QMA series are available in both genders and in various mounting and orientation.
Also in series and between series adaptors are available.

DS3/DS4 Interconnect & cross-connect cables:
 FCC has finished testing a new line of cable assemblies that can be used for Internet DS3/DS4 or any applications that uses the 734A or 735A cables.
A variety of connectors are available such as BNC, Mini BNC, 1.0/2.3, SMB, SMC, TNC and F in a variety of gender, orientation & mounting.
Also tip plug for the drain wire in black or red color is available.
Any variety of cables up to 24 coax bundle including PVC & Belden jacket with or without a tracer wire are available.

High Voltage Laser Cable assemblies:
FCC has delivered specialized cable assemblies for a laser unit manufacturer that includes high voltage cable assemblies, power cables, instrumentation cables, RF & microwave cables & fiber optic cables.
All cables were heavily tested using our computerized continuity & isolation equipment, computerized Hi-pot tester up to 5KV and our latest 67GHz Vector Network analyzer.
First Article, certificate of compliance and complete test documentation were provided to our customer.

DB type cable assemblies:
FCC has recently shipped to a major defense supplier test cables that included twisted pair cable assemblies, with shield terminations, and an overall expandable type sleeve, using military approved DB connectors & components.
FCC is a major supplier for the defense contractors and is aware of all the stringent requirements such as testing, trace ability of parts, and supported documents.

3D Coax Bended cable assemblies:
FCC has added to its latest machinery, benders that are capable of providing a 3D configuration for the RG402 and RG405 types of conformable cables with any type of desired connectors attached on both ends.
